I've never missed high school choir so much!

The City High Show Choir stopped by the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital this week to put on a performance for the kids. According to KCRG, the performance was actually inspired by "The Wave," where fans turn to wave to the 12th floor of the children's hospital during Hawkeye football games. Unfortunately, the kids only get to do that during football season, so the winter season is a little less exciting. Luckily, the City High School show choir, donned in their wave t-shirts, came to the rescue!

KCRG reports that the high school's Director of Choral Activities Tyler Hagy wanted the kids to have an opportunity to give back to the community and do something for others without expecting anything in return.

The University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital recorded the entire nearly 20-minute performance on Facebook live, which you can view below!

The final performances of the set will be this Sunday, March 3 at City High's auditorium in Iowa City at both 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Kudos to the choir for taking the time to perform for families and putting on one heck of a show!
