The Cedar Rapids Festival of Trees Returns to Doubletree

The Cedar Rapids Jaycees present the Festival of Trees November 9-10 and it's making its return to the downtown Cedar Rapids Doubletree Convention Complex. The event is the perfect kickoff to the holiday season in Cedar Rapids with over 50 themed trees decorated by area businesses.

Enjoy live holiday entertainment and the always-popular holiday market. We also have it on good authority that Santa will be in attendance to say hello to all the kids.

A silent auction takes place where you can bid on and win the tree(s) of your choice, with proceeds benefitting organizations such as HACAP, Toys for Tots, Shoes for Kids and the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.

Admission is free, but you're encouraged to donate to HACAP by bringing along a canned food item.

The event opens at 10 a.m. both Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10.

You still have time to sponsor a tree as well, with October 21 being the deadline.
