It's been a pretty stressful past few years, right?

With the COVID-19 pandemic, wars all across the world, and the economic state that the country is in; it's normal to want to find some sort of reprieve.

According to a study from the American Psychological Association, Americans are more stressed out than ever! In the survey conducted, the biggest stressors for people in the United States are supply chain issues, inflation, and Russian cyberattacks.

While most of us do not have any control over whether or not Putin is going to hack into our Facebook accounts, we do have some semblance of control over how we react these daily stresses.

For me, I have to constantly remind myself to take a step back from the internet and go outside and "touch some grass."

Another great way to detach and escape is to indulge yourself in your favorite piece of media. There is nothing like kicking back and watching one of your comfort movies.

A "comfort movie" is kind of like your favorite comfort food. It's a movie that you can watch over again and never get tired of. For some people it's just the flick they put on when they are trying to fall asleep.

We took some real Iowan's suggestions on some of their favorite comfort movies and compiled them down below. Make sure to download the station app so you don't miss a thing.
