The Best Fast Food Chicken Sandwich, Fries, & More in the Corridor

Which fast food restaurants have the best breakfast, chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, and fries? The "Fasties" have the answers!

The website Thrillist has released the winners of the 2022 Fasties, their annual fast food awards that they started back in 2020. According to the article:

"The winners of the 2022 Fasties were carefully selected from the class of nominees announced on April 13 and based on the findings of our extensive taste tests (you should see our expense reports!)"

There are 15 different categories in this year's Fasties, and we're happy to report that almost all of the winners can be found here in Eastern Iowa! Here are a few of their picks:

Best Breakfast

Best Cheeseburger

• Double ButterBurger with Cheese from Culver's

Best Fried Chicken Sandwich

• Ch'King from Burger King

Best Spicy Chicken Sandwich

• Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Popeye's

• Premium Chicken Nuggets from Arby's

Best Fries

• Curly Fries from Arby's

Best Fast Casual Fries

• Five Guys Style Fries from Five Guys

• Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco from Taco Bell

What do you think about the site's picks? I definitely agree that Arby's Curly Fries are the greatest and that the Culver's ButterBurger is a gift from God, but I don't know if I would pick the chicken nuggets from Arby's over the ones from McDonald's!
