A cool bridge that will allow people to cross the Cedar River in an area outside of downtown now has an official name.

After passing their private fundraising goal, both projects will be happening.

The city of Cedar Rapids wants to buy Cedar Lake and begin turning it into a recreational destination.

The project hopes to accomplish a couple of big upgrades in the city.
