Taco Bell is Testing Three New Menu Items [PHOTOS]
Will any of these make their way to Cedar Rapids? Let's hope so!
It's no secret that I am Taco Bell's biggest fan. Ok, maybe I'm not a bigger fan than the girl below, but I'm still a pretty big fan.
Taco Bell just unveiled some fancy new menu items that they are testing in select markets, and I am PUMPED. I've tried pretty much everything on their menu at this point, so I'm always excited to try something different. I'm just hoping that these go over well so they can make it here to Eastern Iowa.
The first new menu item (and the one I'm most excited about) is a mashup of the Doritos Locos Taco and the Quesalupa. It's called the Doritos Quesalupa Crunch, and it's essentially a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco that's wrapped in a nacho cheese Quesalupa shell. It's being tested in Cincinnati through April 8th.
Next up we have the Chicken Enchilada Burrito! Food Beast reports that Taco Bell actually developed a NEW red enchilada sauce for this burrito. The burrito contains rice, sour cream, a three-cheese blend, and two Rolled Chicken Tacos. It also comes in a Cheesy Loaded style with nacho cheese sauce instead of red sauce! This item is in Flint, Michigan until April 6th.
And finally, say hello to the Caesar Crunchwrap. It's basically a Crunchwrap stuffed with Caesar salad ingredients. The fillings include Parmesan corn crisps, romaine lettuce, a three-cheese blend, tomato, beef or chicken, and a roasted green chili Caesar salad dressing. Pick one up in Nashville by April 8th.
