Six people were shot overnight on the east side of Des Moines at the end of a house party. All the victims were between 16 and 20 years old.

The incident happened just before 1:30 Sunday morning in the 1200 block of Sampson Street. Police were called to the scene for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found all of the victims standing at the end of a street where a house party was going on. Police say there was an argument and someone in a vehicle fired shots into the crowd, injuring 6 people. There were three males and three females injured in the shooting.

According to KCRG, a media release from the Des Moines Police Department said all the victims were in stable condition after the shooting. Des Moines Police are investigating the case.
