Send a Pup-a-Gram for Valentine’s Day Next Weekend!
What's the best way to tell someone you love them? With puppy kisses, of course!
Last Hope Animal Rescue in Cedar Rapids will once again be selling Pup-a-Grams for Valentine's Day this year. An official post on their Facebook page reads:
"We aren't going to let COVID stop our FAVORITE fundraiser... it's Pup-a-Gram time!! Things will look a little different this year, but we're still excited to share some love with our adoptable animals and raise funds for a good cause!"
Because Pup-a-Grams have been so popular in the past, in-person deliveries will be available for two days this year on Friday, February 12th and Saturday, February 13th. You can schedule a delivery between 9 a.m. and noon, noon and 4 p.m., or 4 p.m. 6 .p.m. either day, but the delivery location must be here in the Corridor. They cost $30 and include a small floral arrangement courtesy of Anamosa Floral.
Because of COVID-19, all the volunteers will follow social distancing guidelines this year, but you will be able to pet the pups since they'll be on leashes! Volunteers will also be health-screened and masked and will sanitize between visits. Deliveries can be made to both businesses and residences, but volunteers will not be going inside unless the business has a lobby or entryway. Visits to residences will take place on the porch.
Like we previously mentioned, Pup-a-Grams are VERY popular, so you'll want to schedule your delivery ASAP! You can do that online HERE.
