Things may be a little chaotic down here on the ground level in 2020, but just look up and you can see something pretty calming, and breathtaking.

According to WHO-13 in Des Moines, the Strawberry Moon is set to appear in our skies tonight. If you're not familiar with the Strawberry Moon, NASA explains that it's the last full moon of spring. They also note that The Maine Farmer's Almanac states that it's also known as the full moon in June, and that the Algonquin tribes called it the Strawberry Moon because of the short harvesting season for strawberries takes place around this time.

You'll want to wait until after 8:00 p.m. tonight to catch a glimpse of it though, as the Old Farmer's Almanac's website shows that moonrise for Cedar Rapids is at 8:48 p.m. with it setting at 5:27 a.m. Hopefully, skies will stay clear tonight so we can see this beauty at its full potential. According to Iowa News Now, it will be a cool night with some passing clouds, so conditions are looking great. If you catch it, send us some pictures in the app.
