I don't know what the heck is going on, but over the last week, I've been getting scam calls multiple times a day. I've received plenty of scam calls before, but never to this extent!

It all started last Monday, July 7th. I only got one call on Monday, but on Tuesday, I got FOUR. Then I got between two and four calls each day until Sunday, which was the only day I got a much needed break. Clearly the scammers are back to work, though, because I got two more yesterday, bringing my total now to 21!

The worst part is that the phone numbers are different every single time, so blocking them doesn't help at all. And they're coming from all different area codes, too! Many from Michigan, because I have still have a Michigan area code, but I'm getting calls from Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Washington D.C. numbers, too. I mean, just look at some of my call history! It's ridiculous...

I'm not sure what to do at this point, so if you have any advice for me, I will gladly take it. After doing a little research on the FCC website, I discovered that my cell phone provider offers a free app for call filtering, as well as an upgraded version for a monthly fee. I'm going to give that a shot and see if it makes a difference! If you're going through the same thing, here are the resources available from major cell phone providers, courtesy of the FCC's site:
