Say Hello To These GIANT Iowa Snow Creations [PHOTO]
It's safe to say that many of us Iowans are basically OVER winter. We've had snow and then ice, and then more snow. Area schools have had like a million snow days already, and some people are just DONE. Like the Vinton woman who is fed up with Iowa winter and selling her house. You get the picture, we're ready for some warmer weather.
Even though there are a lot of things that we hate about winter, there are some things that we enjoy too. Like this giant snowman for example!
As you can tell from the side-by-side comparison to its creator Daniel Malette, this thing is huge! If we had to guess, we'd say it's about 12-feet tall. We gathered from reading the comments in the post that it took Waterloo resident Maletta 4 DAYS to complete this masterpiece. As you can see from the photo, he got creative too by using rakes as arms. Maletta wasn't the only one to make something good out of this winter though. Lost Island Water Park shared Andrew Lovell's snow dragon creation. This is a work of art right here.
Winter may not be the best season that we experience, but you've got to admit, it is pretty cool that we're able to do things like this. Did you make any snow masterpieces? Share them with us in the comments!
