If you're looking to play some poker this weekend, head on over to Washington county.

The Riverside Casino and Golf Resort announced they are opening their poker room. The Riverside Facebook page said the following:

"Today is the day! Our poker room is reopening at noon for cash games. Weekly tournaments will resume for a date to be announced."

It sounds like there will be a list of rules to make sure everyone stays safe. One of the rules is that all players will need to wear a mask. They are also asking poker players to sanitize their hands upon entering the room.

Casinos across the country are slowly opening up. Poker rooms, however, are taking a little longer to follow suit. It all comes back to the safety of the players and making sure that everyone is protected.

My friend flew from Cedar Rapids to Las Vegas last week for a short vacation. He said most of the poker rooms were pretty dead and the vibe is a little weird out there right now. He stuck to golf and slots and told me he will play the next time he's out west.

I have another friend that lives in Florida and plays poker professionally. He said most poker rooms are open but with strict restrictions. He said all games are six handed and tables have Plexiglas dividers between the players.
