Our Latest ‘Teacher of the Week’ Winner Comes From Iowa City

Happy Friday! The end of the week means that it's time for us to announce a new KHAK 'Teacher of the Week!' This week's winner is Jennifer Lampe, a 3rd-grade teacher at Lucas Elementary School in Iowa City.

Jennifer was nominated by Justin and he wrote:

"I see this woman work day in and day out to ensure these 3rd graders get the best education she can provide. You see it in the test scores. Her class was the only class in the school to improve in reading and math last year. The children also love the way she teaches, as she continues to make teaching exciting through games and music. She has taught children for the last 17 years and, over the last few years, has even seen them start their professional careers."

For being such an excellent teacher, Jennifer will be receiving a free massage or facial from Massage Heights, plus $25 gift cards to Wild Hogs and Half Price Books.
