Our Latest KHAK ‘Teacher of the Week’ is From a Marion School

It's time that we honor another great teacher here in Eastern Iowa!

This week's KHAK 'Teacher of the Week' winner is Stephanie Washburn, a middle school language arts and science teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Marion! Stephanie was nominated by Liz Ball. Her entry says:

"She goes above and beyond. She teaches middle school reading and science. She is in charge of the STEM program, a teacher rep for the student council, helps with the yearbook, plans multiple other student events (ski trip, lock-in, masses and prayer services), and her students love her!"

For being such a fantastic teacher, Stephanie will be receiving gift cards to Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery in Walford and Half Price Books in Cedar Rapids.
