Our Favorite Performances on Week 2 of ‘The Voice’ [WATCH]
We are officially two weeks into season 15 of NBC's 'The Voice!' The show started last week with a TON of really great blind auditions. There were so many, in fact, that it was nearly impossible to choose my favorites. I didn't really have a hard time with that this week, though. There were some truly amazing singers, but there were a few really stood out to me. I also want to note that I was pleased with all the strong female talent this week. I felt like the men were a bit stronger in the first two episodes, but things have been balanced out.
My number one favorite performance of the week was from the very last singer last night, SandyRedd. She got a four-chair turn with her rendition of "River" by Bishop Briggs and it was MUCH deserved. Every time I hear it I get goosebumps! Team Kelly is going to be a tough one to beat.
I was also very impressed by MaKenzie Thomas. She sang "Big White Room" by Jessie J and it was FLAWLESS. This was her second time auditioning for the show and she landed a spot on Team Jennifer.
Delaney Silvernell wowed the judges with her performance of "In My Blood" by Shawn Mendes. She also chose Kelly Clarkson as her coach.
And finally, my favorite male singer of the week was Chris Kroeze. He NAILED his rendition of Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Pride and Joy."
I also want to mention the most interesting performance of the week. Rachel Messer sang "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" by LeAnn Rimes, but she didn't just sing... she YODELED. Oh yeah, there was straight up yodeling on Monday night's episode!
