Eli Young Band will be in Cedar Rapids next week! The opener for their show has been revealed as a local band.

According to a press release, the local band Tyler Richton and the High Bank Boys will be opening for the hitmakers later this month. It's pretty cool that a local group will get to take the big stage at Alliant Energy Powerhouse on Wednesday, March 24 for Eli Young Band.

Tyler Richton and The High Bank Boys are a country band consisting of four members. According to their website, The High Bank Boys get their name from "the body of water flowing through the bands home territory in Deep River, Iowa. The Deep River passes through the town wasn't named for its actual depth, but rather the "High Banks" that contain the river in the town and surrounding area." Since the band has their practices in and around the community, the “High Bank Boys” became the perfect name.

Eli Young Band, with opener Tyler Richton and The High Bank Boys will be performing at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse next Wednesday, March 24. Get ready to hear your favorite hits like 'Love Ain't', 'Even If It Breaks Your Heart' and 'Crazy Girl'.
