A new Iowa poll finds that the majority of Iowans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. It also shows support for President Trump dwindling as well.

The new Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa poll found that 60% of people say the country has gotten off track. 60% of respondents also say they disapprove of the job President Trump is doing in the White House.

The President's 35% job approval rating is down significantly. This past July, an Iowa poll found his approval rating at 43%. Out of all the demographics measured in the poll, only two groups had favorable ratings of the President. Republicans at 78% and Evangelicals at 51%.

The poll was conducted by Selzer and Co. in Des Moines between December 3rd and 6th.
