March 23rd was National Puppy Day, and MAN, do we have some adorable dogs in Eastern Iowa!

As an animal lover, I will find any excuse to have people send in pictures of their pets. That was the case on Sunday when I found out that it was National Puppy Day. As of this morning, Monday, March 24th, there were nearly 300 comments on the post!

Obviously, I'm also going to share a photo of my pup with you. This is Tater Tot, aka Tater, Toots, Tooters, Chicken Legs, Stinky Butt, Bubba, Boo Boo, Snaggletoof, Teefs, etc. I'm not even sure if he really knows his actual name at this point.

Although I never got to meet Tater when he was a puppy (he was almost three when I adopted him from Last Hope in 2020), I did have someone reach out to me on Facebook who was close with his former owners, and she sent me a few photos and videos. He was so stinkin' CUTE!

Honestly, it doesn't matter how old your dog is, I still consider them a puppy. I mean, they're all puppies at heart, right? Here are some of the Eastern Iowa pups that listeners shared with us on Facebook this weekend. Feel free to share yours with us, too!
