Make it a Movember to Remember

Yes, people, I have heard your comments.  What's that on your lip?  Did you lose a bet?  You look like you're from the 70's!  I'm convinced the last comment is a nice way of saying, "You look like a porn star, " without letting on you know what one looks like. My nicely trimmed moustache, is in honor of Movember, and it's a cause I'm happy to look foolish for. 

Movember is a month long campaign where men are encouraged to grow out that stache, and raise awareness of men's health issues, including prostate cancer, and other forms of cancer.  The goal of Movember?  To change the "face" of men's health.  In other words, if growing a silly moustache gets people talking about these health issues, then I'm more than happy to look the fool.

My father is a prostate cancer survivor.  He has fought two rounds and won both.  I was there the day he rang the bell of his last treatment.  My morning show parter continues his battle against cancer.  I see him fight every day.  Some days are tougher than others, but his "I will win" attitude never changes.  These are the people I support and honor during Movember.  Who are yours?
