A New Food Vendor is Moving Into NewBo City Market

It looks like NewBo City Market in Cedar Rapids will be getting a new shopkeeper soon! According to their social media, Madam Chef’s Delicacy Global Fusion is set to open this spring!

Madam Chef’s Delicacy's website says that the business was founded back in 2020 and describes itself as "multi-cultural," offering "a variety of dishes from all over the globe." The online menu features a wide variety of cuisine from Africa, India, Italy, and more, like curry, samosas, plantains, jerk chicken, short ribs, ravioli alfredo, kabobs, goat stew, and cassava leaves. Madam Chef’s Delicacy's services include event catering and private chef dinners.

When Will it Open?

According to a recent Facebook announcement, Madam Chef’s Delicacy Global Fusion will have their soft opening inside of NewBo City Market in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday, April 1st. The new eatery hasn't posted a full menu just yet, but they have shared some delicious-looking photos and videos of some of their dishes on social media. That mac & cheese looks amazing!

When they open on April 1st, Madam Chef’s Delicacy Global Fusion's business hours will be Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For updates, you can follow the official Instagram page HERE and Facebook page HERE.
