Luke Combs is engaged to be married, and boy, did he make sure to put a ring on it. The singer's fiancée, Nicole Hocking, shared a first-glimpse photo of her diamond on social media Thursday—and it's a beauty.

Combs chose an elegantly simple (and large) emerald-cut stone, which would look perfectly classic in any era. And, impressively, it seems he selected this himself, without any input from his bride-to-be. As Hocking explains, "I always said if I was to ever get married, I didn't want to pick out the ring or go ring shopping. I wanted it to be something that when he saw it, he knew that it was the one."

Combs did just fine with this particular challenge, apparently seeing it and knowing it was the one with no issue. "Boyyyyyyy did he out do himself," his girl raves. After declaring her love for him, she affirmed, "I'm going to marry the hell out of you."

Combs proposed to Hocking last month, sharing a photo of the two in a tropical setting, although she'd apparently said yes in a less romantic locale before the shot was taken. "This is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen," the singer quipped.

Combs' girlfriend has been a big influence in his life, with him admitting she's even gotten him to quit some bad habits (such as dipping). At the 2018 CMA Awards on Nov. 14, when Combs took home the New Artist of the Year trophy at the show, he gave a sweet shoutout to the influence Hocking has had on his life.

There are no wedding plans revealed at this early date. Combs already has a busy 2019 ahead of him, as he will begin headlining arenas on the 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour that launches on Jan. 31 in Birmingham, Ala.
