Rising country superstar Luke Combs supplied a rowdy performance of his hit song "Beer Never Broke My Heart" at the 2019 CMA Awards. The anthemic ode to a dependable cold one was co-written by Combs, Randy Montana and Jonathan Singleton, and hit No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart in August.

The Song of the Year winner took the stage in front of a neon bar sign background. Combs' live rendition was heartfelt and got the crowd excited. His powerhouse voice took the spotlight with his signature classic country sound in the live setting.

"Beer Never Broke My Heart" is featured on Combs' brand-new record, What You See Is What You Get, which was released on Friday (Nov. 8). The singer recently told The Boot and other media that fans can expect "more of the same -- in a good way" when it comes to his latest project, which expands his '90s country-inspired sound to new heights.

Combs is nominated at the 2019 CMA Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year alongside Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban, as well as Song of the Year, for his recent single "Beautiful Crazy." He was the CMA's 2018 New Artist of the Year.
