KHAK’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ is From the Linn-Mar District

It's a Friday, which means we are very excited to honor another amazing educator here in Eastern Iowa! This week's 'Teacher of the Week' winner is Kim Frette, a 5th-grade teacher at Novak Elementary School in Marion. She was nominated by Rayann Vandersee who wrote:

"Mrs. Frette was my 5th-grade teacher, along with being my dad's teacher, my uncle's teacher, my brother's teacher, and now my sister's teacher. She is an outgoing person and you just love being around her. Mrs. Frette is by far my favorite teacher ever and I'm going into my junior year of high school. Mrs.Frette has made a big impact on the way I learn every day. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would push myself as hard as I do in a lot of my classes."

For doing such a great job, Kim will be receiving a free massage or facial from Massage Heights, plus $25 gift cards to Wild Hogs, Half Price Books, and Kathy's Pies.
