It used to be called the PGA Senior Tour. Now it's known as the PGA Tour Champions circuit. Iowa native Zach Johnson doesn't care what you call it. You can simply call him a winner.

Cedar Rapids Native Zach Johnson Wins Again!

Stop me if you've heard this before, but Zach Johnson has won again on the PGA Champions Tour. Zach fired a final-round 7-under-par 65 at Pebble Beach to secure a two-shot victory at the Pure Insurance Championship, according to KCRG. And if this all sounds familiar, it's because this is the second straight Champions Tour event that Johnson has won. He took home the title at the Sanford International last week!

How Many Wins Does Zach Johnson Have in 2026?

KCRG reports that this is Johnson's sixth win on the Champions Tour in just 15 starts in 2026. It is Zach's first year on the senior circuit. The Cedar Rapids native won 12 times on the PGA Tour, including major titles at the 2007 Masters and the 2015 British Open.

KCRG reports that Johnson said every win on tour is a dream come true. Johnson stated;

"To add this majestic spot to the list of wins is, again, my dreams never got that far. Let’s just be blunt. I’ve got an attitude of gratitude right now. I never thought I’d ever amount to this."

There are still four PGA Champions Tour events left in 2026, including the Charles Scwabb Cup Championship on November 12-15th. Can Zach bring home the cup in his rookie season?
