Jackson is Looking for his ‘Furever’ Iowa Home! [VIDEO]

Safe Haven of Iowa County's name fits perfectly to today's pet. Meet Jackson, who was rescued from Texas more than a year ago and is still looking for a permanent home. A shelter in Houston, Texas asked Safe Haven for help saving Jackson's life and, of course, they did just that.

Jackson is a mixed breed, believed to be part bulldog and labrador retriever. He weighs 58 pounds and is thought to be about 14 months old. He's a handsome fellow in his tuxedo colors.

He'll sit for you, is great on a leash, loves other dogs, and is gentle and appreciative when it comes to treats... as Brain and Courtlin found out right away:
