Not only is she a legendary performer, a prolific songwriter, but now she's getting into the cutthroat world of....donuts.

That's right!

Dolly is partnering up with Krispy Kreme for a donut collection. If they're anything like this country icon, then they are sure to be sweet as can be.

Dolly Parton Teams Up with Krispy Kreme

The news of this delicious collaboration came out on Instagram earlier this week.

This collection is called Dolly Parton's Southern Sweets x Krispy Kreme Doughnut Collection. If you are a diehard fan of Parton, you can get them now in stores!

There are four different doughnuts available.

There is the Dolly Dazzler, which is a classic glazed doughnut with strawberry icing and gold, pink and white glitter sprinkles, topped with Parton's iconic butterfly.

Also, there's the Peachy Keen Cobbler, this is an unglazed doughnut with REAL peach filling. It's dipped in brown sugar flavored icing with crunchy cobbler style topping.

Sounds AMAZING!

Now, the next two are pie inspired...

The Banana Puddin' Pie is unglazed and is filled with banana flavored pudding that is made with wafers. It's dipped in yellow icing, with white icing swirls and a wafer cookie.

And to finish out the set, there's the delicious sounding CHOCOLATE CRÈME PIE DOUGHNUT.

Doesn't that already sound amazing?

This doughnut is another classic glazed creation with a swirl of chocolate brownie flavored creme and vanilla flavored whipped topping.

All of the special edition doughnuts that Dolly has created will only be available for a limited time. Fans of the brand and Dolly will be able to get their hands on these sweet treats until June 16th.

This Saturday, May 18th customers can participate in a fun promotion at Krispy Kreme locations across the country.

If you show up to a Krispy Kreme location and sing a Dolly Parton song, you could get a free doughnut from the store!

If singing isn't your thing, don't worry!

Just show up dressed like Dolly and you can get yourself a sweet little treat too (for free!).

Where Are the Closest Krispy Kremes?

There aren't too many in Eastern Iowa unfortunately. We are blessed with some great donut spots in or around our neck of the woods.

Cedar Rapids has Donutland, Waterloo has ICON Donuts, and Cedar Falls has Hurts Donuts. So, we're pretty well stocked when it comes to the delicious confectionary treat.
