Shania Twain Hosting the 2026 ACM Awards

Shania Twain will host the 2026 ACM Awards in Las Vegas in May.

The Academy of Country Music revealed the country superstar would host the annual award show in a press release on Wednesday (April 22). 2026 will mark Twain's first time hosting the awards ceremony.

"I'm thrilled to be hosting the 61st ACM Awards in Las Vegas, a place that feels like home.” Twain states.

It’s such an honor to be part of this incredible night celebrating country music’s biggest stars, especially with so many talented women leading nominations this year. I can’t wait to welcome all of the fans and artists out for this unforgettable night.

Twain is the best-selling female country artist of all time.

She dominated the country scene in the '90s with albums including The Woman in Me and Come on Over, placing a long string of hits that includes "Any Man of Mine," "You're Still the One," "From This Moment On," "That Don't Impress Me Much," "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" and more.

Shania Twain is a three-time ACM Award winner and five-time Grammy Award winner. She's sold more than 100 million units worldwide across genres.

Who Are the Nominees for the 2026 ACM Awards?

The nominees for the 2026 ACM Awards were announced on April 9, with Megan Moroney leading the charge. She's up for nine awards.

Miranda Lambert came in second with eight nominations, followed by Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson with seven making it a female-led affair.

The coveted Entertainer of the Year category is filled with powerhouse artists. Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Moroney, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Wilson are all up for the night biggest award.
