One Of Guy Fieri’s First Featured Diners Named Best In Wisconsin Again
Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives has been on TV for almost 20 years, and one of the first-ever diners featured on the hit TV show is still hitting it out of the park. I stumbled on an article from LoveFood for the best breakfast diners in every state.
They put together the list based on several criteria, including user experience, reviews, accolades, and first-hand writer reviews from their staff. LoveFood says there's nothing better than getting a heaping breakfast at a diner. There's just something about the atmosphere that makes it a heartwarming (and stomach-filling) experience.
Frank's Diner - Kenosha, Wisconsin
Frank's Diner was featured in the very first season of Triple D with host Guy Fieri. They were looking at breakfast spots in Season 1, Episode 4. In that episode, they showcased the Garbage Plate at Frank's Diner in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Home Of The Garbage Plate
Frank's Diner is home of the Garbage Plate. It consists of your choice of 3 eggs (half order) or 5 eggs (full order) mixed into hashbrowns, onions, and green peppers. Then, you add your meat or meats, which range from chorizo, spam, corned beef hash, bacon, or sausge. Of course, it's also served with toast, some of which is homemade.
Nearly a 100-year-old diner
Frank's Diner was actually pulled by horses on a flat railcar into its location in 1926. It's been added on with more dining space, but the original structure remains. They serve meals all day, but most people need to try the breakfast for the full experience.
They're also known for their pancakes, French toast, and other creations. Frank's Diner has had many celebrities visit over the years and has become a famous spot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which is located about halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago.
I was doing some more research when I found competitive eater Randy Santel's video from a couple of years ago doing the Garbage Plate Challenge. I met Rany when he was in town doing another challenge, and I've been following him since. Can you believe this amount of food?
