The Average First Snow Date For 10 Cities Across Wisconsin
You may not want to admit it or even think about it for that matter but fall is in the air and that means a lot in the Northland: a big drop in temperatures and even snow.
If you follow The Old Farmer's Almanac, you may already know that they are predicting the first snow for our region in late September. No thank you - but it wouldn't be that crazy if it happened.

I personally love fall but I know that when it hits, that means winter could come at any moment. I like to prepare myself ahead of time since winters are long and dreary in the Twin Ports.
That's why I always pay close attention to the weather forecast and try to soak in every fall day that I can before the next season arrives, which sometimes happens way sooner than we want.

If this forecast turns out to be true, then we can expect a nice, easy transition into winter and more mild conditions before winter comes in full force. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting a 'wild ride' for us this winter, after all.
When Will Wisconsin Cities Get Their First Snow This Year?
To find out the answer, I turned to ChatGPT. I asked about ten popular destinations in Wisconsin and their average first date of snowfall. Ignorance is bliss but it's also good to know these things, right?
