An Iowa high school girl's basketball team is in hot water for a team poster many deem to be offensive. The poster features the 2016 Clarke basketball team in war paint and headdresses with the phrase 'Tribal Family'. A representative for the Oglala Lakota Indian tribe says the poster is culturally incorrect.

The representative goes on to say that the poster doesn't depict Native American women correctly, and makes incorrect use of a totem pole. The school district says the poster is meant to show pride and the fact they are embracing their heritage. None of the players on the team are Native American.

The poster has not yet been distributed and is said to be under review.
