Back in 2013 and 2014 US Navy pilots encountered some high flying, fast-moving UFOs and captured some amazing footage that the government has declassified.

Turns out there's more government information that could be released. And that's exciting news for UFO enthusiasts in Iowa.

Last week, the New York Times reported that Pentagon officials still won't discuss the UFO project, but it is basically hiding in plain sight at the Office of Naval Intelligence. A report said the project is called the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force.

Most Iowans would not be surprised to learn that the Pentagon has acknowledged that they've been following UFOs for decades, according to Fox News.

Over the past few years, reports of UFO sightings in Iowa have made for popular reading. There are more than a few farmers who have encountered a UFO, and they'll tell you it's not just science fiction.

Some have captured strange sighting on cell phone video and have posted clips on sites like the Iowa UFO Sightings and Discussions page.

In the crazy year that is 2020, a genuine, documented case of a live alien encounter would possibly be just about the only thing that would make sense of it all.

It's fair to ask if the increasing volume of UFO talk is being used as a distraction. Perhaps, but it can be a fun distraction, like this story on Fox News that recently reported and published revealing new photos of Area 51.

If that's not enough to freak you out a little, try something a bit deeper. The Mutual UFO Network has been around since 1969 and recently posted the Official US Navy Incident reports and videos on their site. It's another great wormhole to find yourself diving into, and good luck finding your way back out of it.
