Iowa Teacher to Appear on ‘Jeopardy’

It's National Teacher Appreciation Day and 'Jeopardy' is hosting a teacher's tournament all week, which will feature an Iowa middle school English teacher!

Jill Gilbert, who teaches at Central Academy in Des Moines will be on the game show Wednesday. According to 'Jeopardy,' she'll compete against a high school Math and Physics Teacher from Maryland and a high school history, government, and economics teacher from California.

According to WHO-TV, Gilbert will appear in a 'Jeopardy' episode next Tuesday as well.

In eastern Iowa, Jeopardy airs at 4 p.m. on KWWL.
