Iowa-Native Jason Momoa was Featured on Girl Scout Cookie Boxes

Pass the Momoas, please!

A Girl Scout in Colorado recently made headlines for altering the name of a favorite Girl Scout Cookie in honor of actor Jason Momoa. Fifth-grader Charlotte Holmberg created new covers for her boxes of Samoas, calling them "Momoas," instead! After being featured on the Girl Scouts of Colorado social media pages, the clever sales tactic garnered a whole lot of attention. I mean, how could it not? Who doesn't want a shirtless Aquaman making eyes at you while you enjoy some delicious cookies?!

According to People, Charlotte's mom, who also happens to be a marketing professional, helped her created the new logos for the boxes, and people are loving them! The question is, does Jason Momoa know about them? We now know the answer is "yes!"

Jason, who grew up near Des Moines, was asked about "Momoas" by a host of Entertainment Tonight on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday. Insider reports that he responded by saying, "I love Girl Scout cookies. I was waiting to get some free ones. I'd love some." Samoas aren't his favorite, though. He prefers the shortbread ones, known in this part of the country as Trefoils.

If some local Iowa Girl Scouts wanted to jump on the trend and put Jason's shirtless body on a box of Samoas, I think that would be a great idea! I would definitely buy them! Let's get this going :)
