Sometimes man's best friend can be a bit of a troublemaker!

In late March, a Colorado woman got a lot of attention online for a crazy story that she shared about her rescue pup, a terrier mix named Reta. According to the GoFundMe page, Reta wanted a snack, and decided that her owner Sarah Oakley's underwear would be perfect. She ended up eating FIVE pairs of Sarah's Skims underwear, which is totally insane when you see how small she is! After a trip to the vet that cost Sarah more than $13,000, Reta is alive and well, and Sarah is hoping that Skims owner Kim Kardashian might cover the cost of Reta's surgery.

I consider myself incredibly lucky that my dog Tater doesn't eat or destroy anything other than his own toys... although, he does like to occasionally chew little holes in my socks (see above photo). But our family dog Charles? He's far less innocent, as you can see from the photo below. This was done while I was taking a nap one day:

When Charles was just a teeny tiny puppy, he used to chew on anything and everything he could get his little mouth on. This dog has eaten hangers, glasses, pillows, couch cushions, pens, shoes, window sills, dog beds, paper, brushes, pig poop, a package of birth control pills... you name it! And he's never needed surgery for any of it! I swear, he must have an iron stomach.

Luckily, Charles has grown out of his destructive ways, except for one thing: pillows/stuffed animals. He MUST have a pillow or stuffed animal to chew on at night before he goes to sleep. It's actually kind of adorable... until he pulls out all the stuffing.

This week, we asked listeners: what did your pet eat/destroy that got them in trouble? Here are some of the funny responses:
