UPDATED: IC Teen Found Safe

UPDATE (6 p.m.) Iowa City Police say Mayer-Rich was located at approximately 5:30 Tuesday afternoon, following multiple calls from the public.

(Original Story Police in Iowa City are searching for 15-year-old Matthew Mayer-Rich. According to Iowa City Police, Rich ran from Iowa City West High School staff at approximately 4 p.m. Monday. The high school is located at 2901 Melrose Avenue.

Rich, pictured below, is 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has short, light brown hair and was wearing a gray zip-up fleece jacket, black jeans, and black tennis shoes when he was last seen Monday afternoon.

Police ask that if you see Matthew, you call them immediately at 319-356-5275.
