When I was in Nashville earlier this year, I noticed a seemingly endless number of pedal pubs making their way around the city. There were groups of people celebrating bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday parties, graduation parties, divorce parties... pretty much any celebration you can imagine!

Iowa City now has its very own pedal pub thanks to Trolley Pub Quad Cities! The company has teamed up with John's Grocery on 401 E Market Street for a Saturday pedal pub that makes its way around the streets of Iowa City.  According to the Hawkeye Beacon, all of Trolley Pub's vehicles are eco-friendly and have electric assistance. They have a max capacity of 14 passengers and come with "an experienced chauffeur who guides the group along a designated route through the downtown area." Riders can choose where on the route they'd like to stop and how often. The trolleys are BYOB (bring-your-own-beer).

To reserve your ride on the trolley pub, visit the official website HERE and click the "BOOK NOW" button in the top right corner. The 'Iowa City Experience' is the option you want to select. Rides on the trolley are available Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. and they start and end at John's Grocery. You can reserve an entire trolley for $400, but you can also book an individual spot for $30.

Trolley Pub has locations all over the United States, including Davenport, St. Louis, Milwaukee, La Crosse, and Columbus, Ohio. Check out all of the locations and read more about the company HERE.
