Holiday Tours at Brucemore

Every year here in Cedar Rapids, the historic Brucemore mansion gets decked out for the holidays to let you experience their history in a more festive environment.

The tours are underway once again, now through December 29th. Daytime holiday tours and evening musical tours are available at $12 for adults, $5 for students 6-18 and free admission for Brucemore members.

The tours tell the story of Christmas in the 1900s. Regular holiday tours run from 10 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Brucemore mansion hosts other events, of course, including "Santa, Snacks & Stories" with opportunities for children to do crafts, listen to holiday stories and meet Santa, all while enjoying holiday treats. These are held December 8th, 9th 15th, and 16th with check-in options at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. each night.
