Here Is How To Donate Your Extra Halloween Candy To U.S. Troops Overseas
All three of my kids came home last night with a ton of Halloween candy. They were all so proud of their haul. As parents, we monitor how much candy they get. Often, there is so much left over it gets thrown away. But there is something else you can do with all that leftover candy. Donate it and send it to our troops overseas.
Operation Gratitude is an organization with the sole purpose of saying thank you to our men and women serving in our military. This time of year, their attention turns to candy! You can donate your Halloween extras to participating Operation Gratitude locations and that candy will be sent to our troops overseas. Last year, over 533,000 pounds of candy was collected and donated!
If you are a group or organization that would like to help collect candy through Operation Gratitude, you can sign up to be a participating location HERE! Donate today. It's the least we can all do to say THANK YOU!
