All hail the Oreo Cookie. And what better day to pay honor than on National Oreo Cookie Day! It's a shame that it didn't fall on Fat Tuesday. But today is the day we got to pay homage to the best selling cookie of all time, the Oreo.

The Oreo cookie was first introduced in 1912. It's been a best seller ever since. There really is no substitute for an Oreo cookie. Numerous companies have tried to sell you knockoff versions of the Oreo, but they are all just missing something. I mean, how hard is it to put creme inside a chocolate cookie and make it taste great? No one gets it right, except Oreos.

When I was growing up, we didn't have a lot of sweats available to eat. But the one thing my dad would spring for at the store was Oreo cookies. They were our treat. And I was taught early on that there was only one way to eat an Oreo, and that was with a glass of milk, and dunking that Oreo in it. I've been dunking ever since. Back then there was just one kind of Oreo. But now we have all kinds of flavors, good and bad, and double stuff and the new most stuffed Oreos!

There's never been a better time to be a fan of Oreos. So go out and grab a pack today and starting dunking!
