Halloween Fans Are Going to Love Adventureland’s Latest News
Adventureland Resort in Altoona released information on Monday about a huge fall event that has patrons and Halloween lovers across the state spooked--in a good way.
According to KCCI:
The amusement park will hold Phantom Fall Fest each Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October. The Halloween-inspired weekends will offer two different experiences based on the time of day.
These events will start with "fun-sized thrills" including trick-or-treating, family-sized rides, and special food and drinks.
Then at 6 p.m., the fear kicks in gear. Phantom Fall Fest takes screams to the extreme with four separate haunted houses and scare zones. Creepy characters create hair-raising haunts as they prowl the park after dark.
Phantom Fall Fest will also include several different haunted houses.
- The Corn Stalkers
- Spirits of the Swamp
- CarnEVIL
- Alice in Wonderland
It also has "Scare Zones" including MasqueRAGE: The Phantom's World, Death Metal Vampires, and Arachnophobia.
How do I get tickets?
There isn't much information available on that yet. Unlimited admission is included with 2022 Platinum, Gold, and Silver Adventureland Season Passes. Single Day ticket prices and sales dates will be announced later this summer. If you're interested, they encourage you to follow them on their Facebook page for future announcements.
For the first time in its 50-year history, this event helps Adventureland extend its calendar past the summer, and in total, the park will add 15 days to its calendar this year, according to WeAreIowa.
According to its website, "Phantom Fall Fest" at Adventureland runs every weekend from September 30-October 30.
