98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Tyler Schwartz

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Tyler Schwartz, who was nominated by Emma Schwartz! The entry reads:

"Tyler has been a dedicated member of many volunteer fire departments for over 10 years. He ALWAYS stops what he's doing and runs to respond to any call, even in the middle of the night. From parades to fully involved house fires, he is always proud to say he's part of whatever department he is on, and always goes beyond the call of duty!"

Congratulations to Tyler! We thank you for your dedication and service to our community!
