98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Honors Travis Hoefler

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we honor Travis Hoefler, who was nominated by Brittany Hoefler! The entry reads:

"Travis is coming up on 15 years of service with the New Vienna/Luxemburg Volunteer Fire Department. He has dedicated countless Monday nights to training, and never hesitates to answer a call for help. Travis goes above and beyond by helping with paperwork and attending county meetings. His knowledge and calm nature brings comfort to those in emergency situations. Our community is lucky to have him and we are so proud of him!"
