Brain & Courtlin’s ‘First Responder Friday’ Honors Jaydon Davis

Every Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during their 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today's honoree is Jaydon Davis, who was nominated by Sarah Smith! The entry reads:

"Jaydon is the most dedicated officer that I know. He has wanted to be an officer since he was 7-years-old, and has done everything right to make this dream come true. He is hard working and dedicated to his work, but he is also humble. When told what an outstanding job he is doing, he always responds with, 'I am just doing my job.' He puts on a brave face everyday and ensures the safety of his community and himself, making sure he returns every night to be with his family. He is the true vision of a hero."
