Brain & Courtlin’s ‘First Responder Friday’ Honors Aidan McGraw

Every Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during their 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we're honoring Aidan McGraw, who was nominated by Nash Hamilton! The entry reads:

"Aidan McGraw, a 19-year-old from Alburnett, has been a dedicated member of the Alburnett Otter Creek Township Fire Department for over a year, showing exceptional commitment to his community. His willingness to serve and help others in times of need has earned him respect and admiration among his fellow firefighters and community members alike. In addition to his volunteer work with the fire department, Aidan works full-time at Walmart, balancing both his job and his passion for community service. Raised in a loving family, Aidan was adopted, and his personal story of growth and resilience only adds to his character as someone who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. Whether on the fire scene or at his workplace, Aidan’s work ethic and sense of duty continue to positively impact those around him."
