Finally! Bobby’s Weekend Plans Include Racing

It's been a very wet month of May. Back on May 1st I talked about getting the race car out for the first time this season, this weekend will be the 2nd time -- YES 2nd time -- I will be racing, weather permitting. This has been the longest stretch in my 20 years of racing in-between races, not counting the off season.

Between DJing weddings in May (which, by the way, it was nice on those Saturdays) to having the weekend open to race, it rained those Saturdays and Sundays. This weekend is open for racing and we'll be at Independence on Saturday night and Sunday we'll either be at Vinton or Dubuque. Of course, these are all weather permitting and the weather hasn't been permitting me to go fast and turn left! If you're at the races, stop on by afterwards and say "Hi!"
