‘Field Of Dreams’ Movie Site Vandalized

The 'Field of Dreams' movie site in Dyersville is a special place. I love the movie and have great memories of playing ball on that field. Someone apparently doesn't share that same sentiment as the field was vandalized this week.

According to the Field of Dreams Movie Site Facebook page, the field was damaged sometime Monday evening. Someone drove a vehicle through the infield and outfield. Because of the wet conditions, the ground was torn up and deep tire tracks can still be seen.

Operators of the field say it could take nearly $15,000 to make repairs. They've set up a GoFundMe page so the public can donate to the cause. They say that they hope to have all the repairs done by opening day for the field in April.
