Eastern Iowans Share Their Ultimate Dream Jobs
If you could make a living doing absolutely ANYTHING, what would it be?
Last night I was scrolling through channels on my TV, when I came across a show that I've heard of but never seen. I thought, "why not? Let's give it a try!" And that, my friends, is how I became addicted to the Travel Channel's Man v. Food.
If you're not familiar with the show, it stars Casey Webb as he goes on food adventures. According to Wikipedia:
"In each episode, [Webb] explores the "big food" offerings of a different American city before facing off against a pre-existing eating challenge at a local restaurant."
I ended up watching three episodes before bed last night, which is when I realized my new dream. If I could have any job in the world, I would want to have some sort of travel/food show. I want to go to all the amazing, small town, hole-in-the-wall restaurants in the country, eat at them, and then get drunk with the locals. I'm still trying to come up with a good show name, so stay tuned.
This week on our Facebook page we asked the question: what's your absolute DREAM job? We assumed that most people would pick something fun and easy, but nope! We have some people with very difficult dream occupations!
I guess we have some serious underachievers here at the radio station, but it's good to know we're not the only ones! Here are some of the funny ones:
