WHAT A RELIEF.

This past weekend, the website Brand Eating posted a story that had us incredibly upset. Apparently, the author of the story was under the impression that Red Lobster's delicious Cheddar Bay Biscuits were no longer unlimited. Their website stated that each entree only comes with two biscuits. Not surprisingly, the story gained a lot of attention very quickly.

Well, we are happy to report that the whole thing was just a big misunderstanding. The updated article states:

"I stand corrected: you are only limited to two Cheddar Bay Biscuits when ordering online for delivery/pickup. The confusion was the entry on the menu of their website read that you get two Cheddar Bay Biscuits with each entree and I was found several anecdotal accounts to support that."

The official statement from Red Lobster reads:

"Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits are in fact unlimited for our dine-in guests. Obviously, due to the nature of To Go and delivery orders, there is a limit to how many we include in the bag, which is two per entree with the option to add more to your order for a small fee."

Unlimited biscuits are an impossibility when it comes to delivery or to-go orders, so if you want more than the two that come with the entree, you can pay to add more to your order. In Cedar Rapids, one dozen of them are an additional $4.79. But the moral of the story is, when dining in, you can still shovel as many free Cheddar Bay Biscuits into your face as possible. PHEW!
