Dairy Queen’s ‘Miracle Treat Day’ is Today!

It's hard to believe, but the month of August is upon us, which means our annual Children's Miracle Network Radiothon at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital is only a couple of weeks away! Before we get to that, though, there is a way that you can help out that amazing organization this week.

Today, August 2nd is Dairy Queen's 'Miracle Treat Day!' What's Miracle Treat Day, you ask? The official website states:

"On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ^® U.S. locations will be donated to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals^®.  On Thursday, Aug. 2*, stop by your nearest participating location to enjoy a Blizzard Treat that not only tastes good, it does good."

The annual event is always a HUGE day for the Children's Miracle Network. In the past three years, Dairy Queen has raised over $15 million for the organization, and locations here in Iowa raised over $90,000 for the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital just last year! If there was ever a perfect time to crave some ice cream, today would be it!
