Courtlin’s Favorite Performances on ‘The Voice’ — Lives Week 2
The top 10 artists have finally been revealed! This week's episodes of NBC's 'The Voice' provided us with some powerful performances from the top 11, but, unfortunately, one artist didn't make the cut. In the end, Janice Freeman from Team Miley was sent home, and it seemed like all of the judges, including Adam, were a little confused by the choice. Personally, I was happy to see our Iowan Adam saved again. As great as I think Janice is, Adam's instant save performance of Lonestar's "Amazed" was definitely the better of the two.
I'm actually pretty annoyed that Adam keeps making it into the bottom two. I think it might be the curse of Team Adam, because last season there was a member of his team that was in the bottom two like, 4 times before he was inevitably sent packing. I think Adam is insanely talented and he absolutely does not deserve the position he's been put in.
Ok, enough negativity. Let's get to the good stuff! Before we get to some of my favorite individual performances of the week, I want to start by saying that I absolutely LOVED Miley's team performance of "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" by Shania Twain. It was so FUN!
Once again, Chloe on Team Blake had my favorite performance of the week with "Total Eclipse of the Heart." She's very quickly climbing to the top of my favorites list, alongside Addison on Team Adam. Addison sang Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You" on Monday night, a song that I had never heard before. Now I have her version downloaded to my phone because she's just so darn awesome. I also want to give a shout out to Red Marlow for his rendition of "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. I was really impressed by him this week! Here are some videos from this week's episode, in case you missed them:
